The fanous Hoole Christmas light switch on but this year there will be a Christmas market before the switch on with many local stalls, street food and open mic on the stage.
Santa will be in attendance to meet the children and Dee 106.3 with Chester the Cat will help us turn on the lights

Following the success of the first May Day Street Festival, we have been asked to hold a second festival.
There will be stalls along Charles and Faulkner Street, live music but in addition we have lots of activities at the Hoole Community Centre for the children including football, handball, archery and fencing. The Cheshire Fire Brigade will visit with their Engine
Dee Ciders will have a cider press at the Centre so please bring your apples to be pressed and you can make some delicious cider.
GHQ on Charles Street and The Lodge will hold after parties

Ready, aim, Beer! In the August beer tasting event we aim to ultimately prove where the best beers come from… North or South of the UK.

Hoole Community Centre
Come and join our Summer BBQ at Hoole Community Centre on the 17th July 2015, raising funds for the centre and Hoole Christmas lights. We have lizards and snakes for the children to meet. Glitterbugs and Minerva Arts to keep the children entertained. Of course a BBQ and bar. Another great Hoole event for all the family. We have live music, with David Roverts, Tom Jarvis, Leonie Parry and The Roddai.

In April, Chester Beer Appreciation Society (CBAS) meets in the Hoole based Piper – a first for the group . The night foresees a 5 course taster menu, matched with 5 different beers and a chance to meet the brewers from Peerless Brewery. Make sure you attend to not only support your local, but to meet new friends. Good beer, good food, good company: good times – for a mere £15 per head.
